The Douro River overflowed along Porto’s Ribeira waterfront today as high tide sent water across streets, terraces, and river‑tour docks. Civil Protection teams monitored the area while locals and visitors watched the flooding from higher ground. Authorities expect conditions to stabilize once the tide recedes. Ingrid stood at the edge of the breakwater as powerful waves crashed against the coast, drawing the attention of onlookers and photographers alike. The stormy conditions created a dramatic backdrop, but her focus remained steady. Whether observing, documenting, or simply taking in the force of nature, Ingrid’s presence captured the contrast between human resilience and the raw energy of the sea. A moment shaped by wind, water, and quiet strength. Porto, Portugal.  Fado singer CARLOS DO CARMO died in the first day of 2021.
